Andrew Philip,    BA, Econ & Business

Managing Partner

Raised in Vancouver, Andrew brings a diverse mix of business and search industry passion and experience to Philip Recruitment Solutions. An Economics graduate from the University of Western Ontario, Andrew has added the Canadian Securities, UBC's Sauder Real Estate Trading and BCIT's Retail Marketing Certificates to his educational training.

Beginning his career in a Territory Sales role with E&J Gallo, the world’s largest winery, led to a 16 year career in the BevAlc sector.  Leveraging Gallo’s world-renown sales training, he joined Cascadia Brands, the manufacturers of Granville Island Brewing, Calona Wines and Potter’s Distillers, rising up their ranks to become a Provincial Sales Manager for all 3 divisions and then the National Marketing Manager, before being headhunted away by Corby Distillers to direct their BC market activities as GM.

After a 16 month contract role in real estate development, Andrew was lured into the recruitment industry in 2007, gaining experience over a decade in both contingency and retained search on a diverse mix of roles with  for companies across many industry sectors.

Andrew enjoys WW2 history and an active sports lifestyle, playing for and managing senior men’s hockey and baseball teams, while serving as baseball league Treasurer and executive member, and teaching his wife and their four kids the joys of skiing, tennis and golf.

Tracy McRae


With over 20 years of Development and Project Management experience for office, industrial and residential projects across Canada, Tracy brings knowledge of the full cycle of real estate development from land acquisition to completion and warranty to her role at Philip Recruitment.  Coupled with her training as a Certified General Accountant and a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Tracy has a unique blend of real estate development and finance expertise.  Tracy has worked in a variety of accounting, marketing, communications, project management and corporate support roles over her 10 years with Canada's largest insurance company,  Co-operators Group, followed by executive roles for over 10 years in private real estate development companies, including Hong Kong based Bonds Group of Companies. Tracy understands the complexities of both corporate and private company's mandates and structures.  When not working, Tracy can be found volunteering with the Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association along with the Montessori Society while raising her two active children with interests in high level competitive dance, ice hockey and baseball.  Contact Tracy today to discuss your recruitment needs
